Special Highlights of the Show |
| |
|
|
|
- The
Ford Motor Company will have a large trailer and display
area.
- The Mustang Club of America will be at the show in a
special MCA tent on the grounds.
- Mary Jean Wesche, Editor of the MCA publication,
Mustang Times, will be in attendance.
- The Oklahoma Mustang Club will be hosting the show.
- Lance Morgan of the Mustang Grabber Registry will be in
attendance.
- The Oklahoma County Sheriff Department 2010 Mustang
patrol car will be on display.
- The Mustang Police Department will be selling
"citations" from Mustang, OK for souvenirs.
- The City of Mustang will be selling MUSTANG RD street
signs for souvenirs.
- The Mustang Fire Department will be selling t-shirts
with their Mustang FD logo.
- Limited special edition Chisholm Trail show envelopes
with cachet will be for sale.
- Postal Service officers will be available to stamp
these envelopes with the date of the show.

Things
to remember:
- Oklahoma Mustang Club show workers will be
wearing special shirts. They are there to help you with
any questions or problems you may have.
- The Mustang Police will have officers on site 24/7 for
the safety and security of you and your car. After the
show site is closed each night, you will need to have a
police escort and your security pass along with proof of
ID to get to your car and only your car. Noone else will
be allowed on the show site and the cars.
- Oklahoma can sometimes be very windy. Take precautions
with your car. Some owners have been known to use things
like a long stick and bungee cord to hold their hoods in
place during strong winds.
- There may be 500+ cars at the show. Be courteous to
others and we will all have a lot of fun.
- And don't forget the sunscreen. |

Thursday June 3rd
- Main Setup Day.
- Early arrivals and early vendor placement.
- Show site closes at 5:00pm. |

Friday
June 4th
- 8:00am to 5:00pm Check-in and on-site
registration. Entries will be recorded and cars will be
directed to their place for the weekend.
- 12:00pm to 6:00pm The Aquatic Center will be open for
swimming. Show participants will get a 2-for-1 discount
at $5.00 if they show their Display Show Security Pass.
- 5:00pm Show Site Closed. Must show Security Pass to
enter car show area after hours.
- 5:30pm Friday Night Chuck Wagon Hospitality dinners
will be provided to registered participants and their
families. The chuck wagons are authentic and over 100
years old . The meal will be held east of the Aquatic
Center on the lawn. Lawn chairs are recommended.
- Hospitality will have square dancing and a bluegrass
band for entertainment.
- John Wayne Impersonator, Dr Gene Howard, will perform a
live show. |

Saturday
June 5th
- 8:00am to 12:00pm Registration,
Classification, and setup.
- 10:00am - Chisholm Trail National Show
Opening Ceremonies in front of Town Center at the flag
pole. American Legion Post 353 will start the ceremonies.
The Mayor of Mustang, OK will welcome the MCA and the car
show participants
- 10:30am Judges meeting in Kitchen and Banquet Room of
Town Center
- After the ceremonies, car judging will begin.
- 12:00pm to 6:00pm The Aquatic Center will be open for
swimming. Show participants will get a 2-for-1 discount
at $5.00 if they show their Display Show Security Pass.
- Show activities end at 5:00pm.
- 5:00pm Show Site Closed. Must show Security Pass to
enter car show area after hours.

Sunday June 6th
- 8:00am Show Site opens. Continuation of
remaining judging.
- 1:00pm to 6:00pm The Aquatic Center will be open for
swimming. Show participants will get a 2-for-1 discount
at $5.00 if they show their Display Show Security Pass.
- 2:00pm Trophy Presentations and Special Award
by Mustang Club of America.
- Closing Ceremonies. |
